Team ‘Indy’ has always been actively involved in supporting local good causes and charities, either actively involved by way of participation or charitable donations.

Although We recognize that the logistics sector is not the most environmentally friendly, our company feels that we have a responsibility not only to continually improve our own green policy, but to the bigger environmental picture, our focus includes;

• Recycling and reducing waste
• Reusing and repairing wherever possible
• Minimise the use of energy and water

Our initiatives;

• All our invoicing and credit documentation is on electronic format
• Recycle cardboard, paper, cans, bottle, phones, printer cartridges
• Indy have changed our main office printers and fax machines to multi-functional devices that save energy

• We have changed to energy efficient lighting throughout our 3 Heathrow based buildings with our European offices being changed in due course.
• We promote the reuse of stationary where possible saving the requirement to re manufacture our products on a regular basis
• We use where possible reusable pallet boxes and courier bags for shipping reducing waste on a daily basis
• Investment in electric and LPG vehicles to make collections and deliveries where geographically possible

Our future aims;

• Migrate the remaining vehicles in our fleet to either electric or more sustainable fuels

We encourage;

• Printing only when necessary
• Staff encouraged to work outside the common rush hours both AM and PM, this is managed through shift design, car sharing or cycling to our premises
